Southbound traffic on State Route 1 should continue south of the Monterey County boundary through Moss Landing. Approximately 2.5 miles south of the "Big Moss" power plant take Castroville exit, highway 183. Then proceed approximately 0.1 miles, and follow signs to parking areas.
Southbound traffic on US Highway 101, should exit 101 in Prunedale (approximately 17 miles south of Gilroy) at the junction of State Route 156, continue west for approximately 6.2 miles to the Castroville exit, highway 183, turn right and follow signs to parking areas.
Follow State Route 156 from Hollister 25.2 miles to Castroville, exit on Castroville exit, highway 183, turn right and follow signs to parking areas. State Route 156 and Highway 101 are the same from just west of San Juan Bautista to Prunedale.
Northbound traffic should proceed northwest on West Market Street (State Route 183), which becomes Salinas Road, for approximately 8.5 miles. As you enter Castroville, cross the State Route 156 overpass and follow signs to parking areas.
Northbound Highway 101 traffic from points south of Salinas, should exit 101 in Prunedale at the junction of State Route 156 and continue west for approximately 6.2 miles to the Castroville exit, highway 183, turn right and follow signs to parking areas.
Northbound traffic should proceed north on State Route 1, exit right onto State Route 156 eastbound for approximately 1.1 miles, and take Castroville exit, highway 183, turn left and follow signs to parking areas.
